Whiskey
Fermented grain mash can trace its history of being a remedy for both body and mind back to the monasteries in the 12th Century, when it was used to treat smallpox. However, as the distillation process spread around the world, the world’s first records of whiskey are found in 13th Century Ireland and Scotland. With so many styles, from Scotch to American to Japanese, there’s sure to be a style for anyone.
