R.O.Q. Corporation R-OH Montsant
R-OH* hails from Cornudela de Monsant - it is sourced from old Garnacha and Carignan vines that seduced a hapless Quibian or two and told them to drop everything and make wine - a fresh wine with just enough oak to sail out of the steep rocky hills of Montsant and across the pond to the Americas.
A mix of leather, berry fruits and vanilla. The palate is with baked, earthy flavors of black fruits and herbal tones.
A classic food and wine pairing would be traditional Catalan fare of fresh sausages and white beans with grilled onions and peppers. Also pairs well with:
- Spanish/Portugese cuisine
- Foods cooked via Braise/Soup/Stew
- Savory dishes
