El Jolgorio Madrecuixe Mezcal

Preferring high elevations, the scarce, wild agave Madrecuixe grows in a stalk like all karwinskiis. Its widely spaced pencas shoot out at an upward angle, more prominently toward the top of the large plant. The great size of Madrecuixe at full maturity lends to a high concentration of natural sugars creating a soft and rich mezcal with nuanced aromas.
