2016 Domaine de la Chapelle Saint Victor Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rose

Since the tenth century this estate has been managed by the monks of the abbey of St Victor in Marseille. Today the domaine still bears the name of the abbey, and has been owned by the Lefevre family for the past 12 years. The vineyard is located on the south side of the Costes Lambesc mountain range in Coteaux d'Aix en Provence, and consists of 20 hectares of sandy loam soils planted with grapes farmed organically and certified AB Agriculture Biologique. Winemaker Laurent Breban crafts a delicious rose made from a Mediterranean blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and a touch of Syrah.
