WhistlePig The Boss Hog XI: The Juggernaut is the eleventh edition in WhistlePig's esteemed Boss Hog series, renowned for its innovation and exceptional quality in rye whiskey craftsmanship. This limited-edition release draws inspiration from Thandai, a traditional Indian beverage celebrated for its aromatic blend of nuts and spices. To achieve this unique profile, WhistlePig's team traveled to Rajasthan, India, sourcing exotic spices from the Khari Baoli spice market in Delhi—the largest in Asia. The whiskey undergoes an initial aging in new American oak barrels, followed by a finishing period in custom-made Thandai barrels seasoned with a blend of saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, fennel, poppy, and black peppercorn. Bottled at barrel strength, approximately 104 proof (52% ABV), The Juggernaut exemplifies WhistlePig's commitment to pushing the boundaries of rye whiskey innovation.
