2018 Cantina Colonnella Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
ABOUT
ABOUT
Colonella is a village in the Abruzzo Region rich with history and artistic beauty. The wine growing area here is beautiful as well providing a diverse climate with ideal growing conditions. The Colonella Cooperative Wine Grower's Association was born in 1971 through a small group of farmers. These farmers use traditional growing methods and classic varieties to carefully create an honest wine with excellent structure. Their Montepulciano is a great example of this type: soft red fruit, slight earthiness and bright acidity
TastingNotesRuby red with purple hues. On the nose, it is fresh, with aromas of currant, strawberry, and raspberry. Medium body with soft red fruit, slight earthiness and bright acidity
