2021 Bacchus GingerS Cuvee Pinot Noir

Created by David Gordon, longtime wine director at New York City's famed Tribeca Grill, Bacchus "Ginger's Cuvée" Pinot Noir was built to deliver restaurant-quality elegance at an everyday price. Named after Gordon’s daughter Ginger, this vibrant California red highlights fruit purity and balance over heavy oak.  Sourced primarily from cool-climate Monterey coastal vineyards where gentle marine fog preserves delicate varietal character, this wine is fermented and aged in a fresh, approachable style. It is light-to-medium-bodied, smooth, and endlessly versatile at the dinner table.

Medium bodied Pinot Noir with generous candied red fruit at the front of the palate, accented by a hit of spice on the back end. The nose speaks more to the wine's floral capacity, though the supple notes of strawberry and raspberry jam dominate.

Poultry is always a friend to fruit forward Pinot, but certainly not to be outdone, fatty fishes like salmon remain a traditional pairing for reasons beyond reproach.
