Crafted entirely from 100% Sangiovese grapes, this wine embodies La Gerla winery's rich heritage and meticulous craftsmanship. The grapes are sourced from younger vines within the Brunello zone and cultivated using organic practices that enhance the wine's authenticity and connection to its terroir. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels (botti) for four months, a process that imparts subtle complexity while preserving the varietal's vibrant character.
