Vigneti del Sole Spumante Extra Dry Peperino
ABOUT
ABOUT
Vigneti del Sole's Peperino Spumante Extra Dry is a vibrant sparkling wine from Italy's Veneto region, specifically the Treviso area. This non-vintage spumante is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Glera, and 30% Pinot Nero grapes, harvested in mid-September. The grapes undergo a light maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature of 16°C, followed by both primary and secondary fermentations in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. The wine is left on the lees for three months before clarification and bottling, resulting in a fresh and well-balanced flavor profile. With an alcohol content of 11% and a residual sugar level of 17 g/l, Peperino offers a delightful balance between dryness and subtle sweetness, making it a versatile choice for various occasions.
