2018 Clos Fornelli Vinu di Scimia Vin de Corse Sciaccarellu

The name of this cuvee is inspired by the Corsican expression "Pigliassi una scimia" which translates roughly into "to become a monkey" and means to get a little buzzed (the monkey being associated with the happy drunk). Made from young vines and in a fresh style, this wine is so pleasing that winemaker Josée Vanucci kept returning to this one special tank, eventually drawing a monkey on it and naming the cuvee Vinu di Scimia.
