Breuckelen Distilling 77 Whiskey Local Rye & Corn
ABOUT
ABOUT
Distillery's 2nd whiskey is produced very much like the black wax whiskey, except they ferment a mash of rye and corn, rather than wheat. This grain combination benefits from some additional time in oak, so it tends to be a little older than the black wax.
Local Rye and Corn is made from 90% rye and 10% corn. Like a loaf of fresh baked banana bread, it starts with bananas on the nose followed by flavors of vanilla, brown sugar and a bit of nuttiness.
