ABOUT

Don Julio Claro 70th Anniversary Day of the Dead Limited Edition Tequila is a special release that celebrates the legacy of Don Julio's seven decades of tequila-making mastery. This unique expression is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave and aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels. It undergoes a meticulous charcoal filtration process to achieve the clarity of a Blanco while retaining the depth and complexity of an Añejo. Released in honor of Día de los Muertos, this limited edition features an artistically designed bottle that pays tribute to Mexican culture and tradition.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: The aroma is fresh and elegant, with notes of cooked agave, vanilla, and citrus, accented by hints of toasted oak and floral undertones.

Palate: Smooth and well-balanced, it reveals flavors of sweet agave, vanilla, and a touch of caramel, enriched by light oakiness and a hint of spice.

Finish: Long and clean, with lingering notes of vanilla and a warm, slightly dry oak finish.

FOOD PAIRING

Don Julio 70th Anniversary Tequila pairs well with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or creamy desserts like vanilla flan. Its smooth character also makes it an excellent base for premium cocktails such as a Tequila Old Fashioned or Paloma.
