Mijenta Añejo Gran Reserva is the ultra‑premium expression in the Mijenta lineup, crafted by Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero. It begins with 100% Highlands blue agave and is aged about 18 months in four distinct cask types: American white oak, French oak, acacia wood, and cherry wood. This aging regimen results in a tequila that balances agave’s pure character with layered oak influences, producing both depth and elegance.
The production is small‑batch and limited, reflecting a dedication to quality and sustainability. The bottle shows a warm golden hue with copper tones, and the aroma carries richness without overpowering sweetness. The texture is smooth and velvety, with a complexity that rewards slow sipping.
