Sekk Sato Shiki Single Grain Whisky
ABOUT
ABOUT
Sato Shiki Single Grain Whisky is a testament to the harmonious blend of tradition and innovation in Japanese whisky craftsmanship. Distilled at the historic Sato Distillery, established in 1905 in Miyazaki Prefecture, this expression utilizes a mash bill of 88% premium Koshihikari rice and 12% malted barley. The distillation process employs the unique Sato Still, designed by Junji Mizue in 1989, which incorporates a 500-year-old Japanese method of slow vaporization, allowing for precise cuts and resulting in a remarkably smooth spirit. Matured in a combination of white oak, Spanish oak, and sherry casks, this whisky embodies the essence of Japanese terroir and meticulous artistry
