ABOUT
ABOUT
Passionate Wines ArtOrange Nature Vino Macerato is an expressive natural orange wine from the renowned Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina. Produced by Passionate Wines, this unique blend of Torrontés and Chardonnay is crafted using organic and minimal intervention methods, offering a fresh and vibrant expression of orange wine. The extended skin contact gives this wine its distinctive amber hue and a complex array of flavors, making it a standout choice for those seeking a bold, natural wine experience.
The production of the "Orange" begins at the beginning of October with a careful selection of the grapes, harvested by hand. The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. Fermentation in stainless steel begins spontaneously and is carried out using only the indigenous yeasts present in the grape skins. There is an intense maceration typical of red vinification (26 days). At this moment the skins release into the wine the color and aromas typical of the Trebbiano d'Abruzzo wine macerated on the skins, progressively reaching a bright orange color. It is a natural wine that does not require any type of filtration but only a simple decantation before the bottling phase. An orange wine whose floral scents, tropical fruit, candied citrus and Mediterranean herbs. The taste it is soft, fresh, with a great sapidity that brings us towards a slightly bitter finish, very persistent and of great elegance. Orange is a natural wine suitable for any kind of meal, from aperitifs to desserts. It goes well with shellfish and seafood aperitifs, but also first courses, foie gras and blue cheeses.
