Veuve Amiot’s “Elisa” Crémant de Loire Brut is crafted with the precision and patience that have defined the estate for more than a century. Working with fruit sourced from the tuffeau-limestone slopes surrounding Saumur and Montlouis, the winery blends Chenin Blanc with touches of Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc—each adding its own nuance to the final wine.
After a cool primary fermentation, the wine undergoes traditional method secondary fermentation in bottle, where it ages on the lees to build texture and depth. The result is refined yet vibrant: delicate orchard fruit, crisp citrus, and floral notes lifted by a fine, persistent mousse. The Loire’s unmistakable mineral imprint threads through the palate, keeping the wine lively, structured, and quietly sophisticated.
