Produced as an experiment that took Barrell's Rum Batch #1 (a Jamaican pot still rum aged for 7 years in previously used Bourbon barrels) and aged it for an additional year in Islay Scotch casks, the resulting spirit was just too good not to bottle. The vanilla and charred coconut present in Rum Batch #1 is here rounded with savory notes and a kiss of smoke, at a proof of 132.
