Chateau des Perligues Graves
Chateau Des Perligues comes from an estate in Illats, in the heart of the Graves region, home to the region’s famous deep sandy, gravel soils. The vineyard consists of 27 hectares, well-drained and benefiting from a temperate climate on the Garonne banks. The average age of the vines is 20 years. Graves is not a region known for bargains Perligues is one of those rare exceptions.
This estate was established in 1962 in the commune of Illats. The 10 hectares of vineyards are planted on sandy gravel well draining soils, on the banks of the Garonne River. The average age of the is 22 years. Night time manual harvest with traditional vinification in stainless steel and ageing of 6 to 8 months in concrete.
