ABOUT

Chateau Pradeaux Bandol Rosé 2022 is a distinguished dry rosé wine from the prestigious Bandol appellation in Provence, France. Crafted by the historic Chateau Pradeaux, renowned for its commitment to traditional winemaking, this rosé is a refined blend of Mourvèdre and Cinsault grapes. The result is an elegant and expressive wine that beautifully captures the essence of Provence, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate high-quality rosé wines.

From Producer: The iconic Bandol Rosé from Château Pradeaux is a cornerstone of our portfolio, comprising 70% Mourvèdre, 25% Cinsault, and 5% Grenache, from vines up to 80 years old. Fermented spontaneously and aged on its fine lees in a combination of steel and cement, it is both structured and fine, with spice-laden fruit and a depth which very few rosés attain—even in this hallowed appellation.

TASTING NOTES

Nose:
The nose of Chateau Pradeaux Bandol Rosé is aromatic and inviting, with enticing notes of wild strawberries, red currants, and peach. Delicate floral hints of rose petals and a subtle touch of Mediterranean herbs add layers of complexity to the bouquet.

Palate:
On the palate, this rosé is fresh and vibrant. The flavors of red berries and stone fruits are complemented by nuances of citrus and a hint of minerality. The wine's bright acidity and medium-bodied structure create a harmonious and refreshing mouthfeel, perfect for warm weather enjoyment.

Finish:
The finish is long and elegant, with lingering notes of strawberry, peach, and a delicate mineral touch. The well-balanced acidity leaves a clean and crisp aftertaste, inviting another sip.

FOOD PAIRING

Chateau Pradeaux Bandol Rosé pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. Its freshness and acidity make it an excellent match for seafood, particularly grilled fish, shrimp, and shellfish.
