Domaine Magdalena Winery Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
The Domaine Magdalena vineyard consists of four acres of Cabernet Sauvignon. Maggie and her Husband, Christophe, literally live in their vineyard while raising their two sons. It seemed imperative that they grow the grapes in the healthiest, most sustainable way possible, while also doing our utmost to showcase true Red Mountain terroir. The vineyard was Demeter Certified Biodynamic in 2011.
Sedimentary soils of gravel and Loess
The vineyard is farmed using Biodynamic methods
The grapes are hand harvested and fermented using all native yeasts for both primary and malolactic fermentations. The wine is pressed to barrel and aged on the gross lees.
