Laphroaig Cairdeas Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Laphroaig Cairdeas Quarter Cask was initially matured for more than five years in first-fill Bourbon casks, then transferred for a second six-month maturation period in smaller quarter casks.

The whisky from 177 casks was then bottled at cask strength, with no added caramel colouring, no chilling and a simple barrier filtration.

TastingNotesaromas of coffee cream, vanilla, sweet mint, bonfire and sanded wood on the nose, leading to flavours of sweet vanilla, bitter liquorice and full of smoke on the palate.
