2021 Markogianni's Winery "Vorias & Helios" Assyrtiko Orange

Vorias & Helios Assyrtiko by Markogianni is a skin contact light orange wine. These Assyrtiko grapes grew in family-owned vineyard of the winery, in semi-mountainous Olympia. The spontaneous fermentation of the must, in contact with the skins for 8 days, led to the production of a low intervention wine. On the face it is light orange with brown highlights. On the nose there are honeyed fruits such as orange, elm, quince, chamomile with a botanical character to follow and hints of nuts at the end. The palate is of medium volume, with moderate acidity, a feeling of oiliness, soft tannins that compose a delicious whole, leading us to a lasting aftertaste.
