Noëlla Morantin Sauvignon Blanc Les Pichiaux

"Les Pichiaux" is a single vineyard plot of Sauvignon Blanc, with clay and limestone soils and vines around 35 years old. The grapes are direct pressed and élevage is on the lees in large, used barrels. Bright on the nose with notes of grapefruit and honeyed orange zest, the palate is juicy, fruity and not grassy! Think salty lemonade, ruby red grapefruit zest, fresh tropical acidity, and a stony minerality.
