Smoke Wagon Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey Clear Glass

Folks behind the Smoke Wagon brand had issues with manufacturing the amber bottles temporarily so they did a limited run (around 18K bottles) using clear bottles. So limited release, of sorts.

As for the whiskey itself, utilizing the same casks and the same blend of 4, 6 & 8yr Bourbons as their highly sought-after Uncut-Unfiltered release, the Small Batch is bottled at 100 proof and still packs considerable punch and complexity. This release remains equally as limited for the time being.

TastingNotes

Nose: Balanced oak nose with hints of fruit and dried apricots.

Taste: Initial sweet notes on the front of the tongue. Well-balanced mouthfeel with spicy notes including white pepper on the middle and back of the tongue from the younger vintage and high rye mash bill.
