Solar del Alma Skin Contact Chardonnay

Chardonnay given a prolonged maceration on the skins of a full-bodied, highly textured orange wine. A clean and expressive version of the style, great introduction as well as pleasing to those experienced with amber wines. Almond skins, apple sauce, citrus rind and tea-like tannin notes, but not overwhelming as it retains healthy acidity. Made in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Organic farming with biodynamic practices in the vineyard and low intervention in the cellar. Native yeast fermentation and no filtering or fining undertaken. Certified organic farming. Only addition being a small amount of sulfites.
