The Glenrothes distillery in Speyside is home to a 5.5-ton mash tun, twelve oak washbacks, eight stainless steel washbacks and five pairs of stills. Oh, and it also used to be home to a ghost. Don’t worry, he wasn’t one of those evil ghosts like in the movies, and he was courteously removed from the premises, so don’t be afraid to visit the distillery if you ever get a chance. However, do keep it in mind when you see the graveyard that’s right next to the distillery, which you can see on our Glenrothes label. There’s the ghost, too!
