Citadelle Jardin d'Été is a contemporary gin inspired by the lush garden at the Château de Bonbonnet, reflecting the essence of summer with its delicate and fresh profile. Infused with a selection of 22 botanicals, including Charentais melon, whole lemons, yuzu, and orange zest, this gin is a testament to the art of French distillation, crafted to bring a piece of the sun-drenched French landscape to your glass.

Nose: A bouquet dominated by green juniper, complemented by vibrant notes of lemon zest, mandarin, and a subtle hint of fennel seed and winter savory, offering a citrus-forward introduction.

Palate: The flavor profile shines with the sweetness of melon, complemented by the tartness of yuzu and sour lemon, transitioning to mid-palate notes of pine juniper alongside rich cantaloupe and stone fruit. The complexity deepens with background hints of nutmeg, angelica, cubeb, and licorice.

Finish: Moderately long, with a very light heat, making it almost too mild for a full-proof gin. Cubeb and licorice take the lead on the back palate, gradually giving way to lingering notes of melon, tangerine, and orange peel​.
