ABOUT

Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau has long been a benchmark in Vouvray, farming Chenin Blanc biodynamically since the early 1990s. Their Pétillant Brut embodies the estate’s signature elegance—lightly sparkling, quietly expressive, and deeply rooted in the limestone-rich soils of the Loire.
Grapes are hand-harvested from estate parcels before undergoing a slow, cool fermentation that protects Chenin’s natural aromatics. A traditional in-bottle secondary fermentation gives the wine its fine mousse, while minimal dosage keeps the style firmly on the dry, lifted side.
The result is a sparkling Chenin that feels effortless: pear, quince, and citrus blossom mingle with subtle honeysuckle and a clean chalky thread. It’s lively without being flashy, delicate yet persistent, and irresistibly drinkable from first sip to last.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Pear, quince, white flowers, light honey, and fresh chalk.

Palate: Crisp orchard fruit intertwined with citrus, fine bubbles, and gentle floral tones.

Finish: Dry, fresh, and mineral with lingering pear skin and subtle honeyed edges.

FOOD PAIRING

A beautifully versatile partner for goat cheese, sushi, fresh salads, shellfish, and lightly spiced dishes. Its bright acidity and gentle mousse make it a natural match for creamy textures, salty elements, and delicate seafood preparations.
