ABOUT

The flagship product is a tequila Joven produced in the highlands of Jalisco. After 8 years, the private estate agave is harvested and cooked in an autoclave and then fermented with yeasts that have been used for decades in the hacienda, then twice distilled in a 100 year old copper pot still. The blanco is blended with an extra anejo aged 3-4 years in used bourbon barrels and then passed through their proprietary filtration system in which they remove most of the color but none of the original organaleptic properties.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A light bouquet of sweet cooked agave, complemented by hints of stone fruit sweetness, vanilla, and a subtle woodiness.

Palate: Smooth and velvety, featuring flavors of vanilla, cooked agave, and earthy tones, with a wood note that becomes more pronounced.

Finish: Medium to long, with a pleasant sweetness and lingering notes of cooked agave and vanilla.

FOOD PAIRING

El Pintor Joven Tequila pairs exceptionally well with a variety of dishes. Its vibrant agave flavor and subtle oak nuances complement the richness of grilled meats, while its fruity and medium to full-bodied profile can beautifully offset the spiciness of traditional Mexican dishes. For a unique culinary experience, try it alongside a platter of aged cheeses or a rich chocolate dessert to explore its versatility.
