Les Faverelles Bourgogne-Vezelay Le Nez de Muse Blanc

Les Faverelles is run by Patrick and his wife, Isabelle, who formerly ran a bookshop in Paris for 20 years. They farm in the northern Burgundian village of Asquins where Isabelle is also the mayor. Asquins is also certified organic, which means no chemicals or pesticides are allowed in the village at all. They have been farming organically since 1997 and currently have 6 hectares of vines, which are split around 50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Vézelay is an AOC for white wine; the red is classified as Bourgogne rouge.
