Ohishi Sherry Cask Japanese Whisky
Ohishi Whisky is a single cask product made in Japan from rice. Essentially an uncut barrel aged shochu, this whisky is made at the Ohishi distillery in Kumamoto, Japan.
Eye: Deep Red
Nose: Sherry dominates followed by notes of oak, ash, nuts, citrus, dried fruits and leather.
Palate: The nose doesn't lie. A sherry explosion followed by rich vanilla, citrus, dried dark fruits and a touch of sweetness.
Finish: Long and fueled by cherry with bits of cocoa, dark fruit, ash and spice.
