Product information
Bertrand Brigandat is a first generation vigneron whose domaine in the extreme south of Champagne is named for his father Pierre. In his day, Pierre supplied Pinot Noir to Laurent-Perrier, a house renowned for their exacting standards in sourcing grapes. Today, Bertrand uses these same grapes from the high hillside vineyards near his home in Channes to carefully craft his powerfully beguiling wines. This area is distinctively known for the kimmeridgian soils that infuse the wines with racy structuring minerals that provide a bracing counterpoint to the abundantly ripe and brawny fruit. No delicate flower, Brigandat was made for raucous celebration.
