The initial aroma of this whisky is delicate and subtle, with hints of melon and citrus fruits, which gradually give way to a more pronounced scent of waxy notes and aromatic flowers, such as geraniums and roses. As the fragrance evolves, it becomes infused with warm spices, like cinnamon and ginger, that are reminiscent of deliciously spiced biscuits.
On the palate, the whisky is velvety and smooth, coating the mouth gently with layers of succulent melon, zesty orange oil, and sweet sultanas that blend harmoniously with the flavors of spiced biscuits. As the taste journey continues, the whisky grows richer and more decadent, with the addition of crystallized ginger and ginger biscuits that are covered in a luxuriously creamy chocolate coating, with hints of vanilla.
The finish of this whisky is of medium length and beautifully balanced, with a rich and creamy choux pastry flavor that is complemented by a cool, thick creaminess.
