40% of the wine is aged in French and American oak for 10 months.

Winery insight: 11 hectars proprety, Villard was a pioneer in the Valley of Casablanca.  They started the winery in the early 80s when Casablanca only had 80 hectars planed.  Now the Valley counts more than 6000 hectares planted.  Casablanca Valley is recognized as Chile's premium cool climate viticultural region benefiting from a sea breeze that extends the ripening period of the grapes insuring full maturity.
